Further Information

Kwara Camp is located on the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve in the north of the Okavango Delta in an amazing and remote area. Guests are accommodated in beautiful, ensuite tents on raised platforms beneath a shady canopy of trees. Each tent has super views over the plains or lagoons of the Delta. There is a central dining area, sitting area, bar and small plunge pool.

The permanent water ways and lagoons of the Delta wind their way through the southern region of this concession allowing guests at Kwara to experience the excitement of game viewing from the water by mokoro (a local dug out canoe), by boat, on foot through the bush (subject to the manager's discretion) or by 4x4 game viewing vehicle. There are also fishing excursions in the deeper waters of the region. The area is characterised by dramatic, palm-fringed islands, reed beds, floating grasses, papyrus and sandy flood plains. The birdlife in the Delta is world famous and the many unusual animals such as the lechwe, reed buck and sitatunga (although sometimes hard to see) are there for the sharp-eyed to spot.
