Further Information
This tiny camp of only six beds in three tents is set in the
Selinda Reserve in the north of the Okavango Delta. It is located near the
Zibalianja Lagoon, which is the source of the Savuti Channel. Because of its
size, it offers a fabulous degree of privacy and solitude with intimate hospitality
and excellent service.
Built around a palm island amongst floodplain savannah, the twin Meru style
tents are set on raised wooden platforms, each with ensuite facilities and
super views of the surrounding floodplains. The thatched bar and viewing deck
overlook a small, active waterhole and meals are served in a canvas and thatch
dining tent. Activities include morning, afternoon and evening game drives
as well as nature walks with an experienced guide. Elephant, zebra, giraffe,
cheetah, wild dog and lion are all spotted here and the region is also home
to a prolific and diverse range of birds.
Why?
- Tiny intimate camp
- Very genuine with excellent guides
Why Not?
- Maybe too basic for some people
