Further Information

Bedouin Camp is a small and exclusive camp named after the style of the five lovely ensuite tents that are dotted along the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River running through Samburu National Park.

The owner, Craig Griffiths, has arranged with the support of the local Samburu community to place his camp on their land outside the West Gate of the park and away from any other tourists. The camp is really peaceful and beautifully run by Craig and his excellent team of helpers. Activities include walks and game drives in the National Park which has plenty of game of all types.

Why?

  • Outside what can be a very busy park, so away from the tourists
  • Set on the river in a very pretty place
  • Owner run
Why Not?
  • Management can be a bit haphazzard
  • Proper tented camp
  • May need a sense of humour!
