Further Information

Galdessa Lodge is situated on the banks of the Galana River, nestled beneath the shade of doum palms. It has a thatch roof and Galana stone floors and is split into two areas: upstream and downstream.

In the downstream part of camp, there are three bandas and in the upstream part, there are eleven. Guests stay in comfortable, spacious, ensuite bandas, which are thatched, semi-tented rooms on wooden platforms and well-spaced to give guests their privacy. Ensuite bathrooms are large, with traditional bucket showers, flush toilets and basins with running water.

Meals are served in the pretty central dining area, which is very spacious and has plenty of staff to look after you. There is also a bar and a comfortable sitting area.

Why?
