Further Information

This is a super, old colonial house with beautiful, mature gardens where the orphaned giraffes that live here are free to roam. With just four bedrooms, it is an exclusive lodge and, having recently been refurbished, makes a very interesting and amusing place to stay at the beginning or end of a safari.

It is based on the outskirts of Nairobi. The Giraffe Centre, which is attached to the Manor, is pretty touristy but staying at the Manor gives you the opportunity to view these wonderful animals away from the crowd and at very close quarters. Guests have a chance to feed them by hand, which is a great experience.

Why?

  • Lovely colonial house on the edge of Nairobi
  • Wonderful first or last night
  • Giraffes looking through your window!
Why Not?
