Further Information

This luxury tented camp is set amid a lush verdant oasis of fig trees, indigenous flowering shrubs and cycad palms. It lies on the banks of a seasonal river which attracts a lot of game away from the semi-desert of this arid area of Northern Kenya.

Teeming with colourful birds and butterflies, there are some excellent walks through the thick forest along the river where you will also find a welcome and refreshing natural pool. Activities are not in a vehicle but on foot with visits to local Samburu tribes, game viewing and tracking, bird watching and swimming in a natural rock pool. No early rising is suggested or requested as game is around all the time.

Why?

  • Owner run by very friendly Italian
  • Remote lodge that supports the local community
Why Not?
  • Walking only, no game drives
