Further Information
This fairly newly built, large, thatched house is
set on the very edge of the escarpment with stunning far-reaching views across
the plains to Mount Kenya. The House has every comfort you could wish for.
The main part of the house has a split level, large, comfortable sitting room
and dining area and a well appointed, very well equipped kitchen where your
own staff will cook meals for you. There is a wooden veranda which overlooks
the pretty gardens with a paved path down to the pool house and a large infinity
swimming pool with the same stunning views across the bush.
There are two ensuite
large double bedrooms, one at either end of the house, with big windows looking
across the African bush - both with super bathrooms. The owner maintains a
helicopter that is available if you wish to use it (at extra cost) and all
satellite communications including TV if you wish to keep in touch with the
world. Your days are spent as you like and you will have very easy access to
all the lodge facilities just 5 minutes walk away - walking, game viewing,
horse riding, enjoying the big range of pampering treatments offered by the
spa, playing tennis, visiting the working ranch, spending a night at the Loisaba
Starbeds, trekking with camels and visiting the local communities. You certainly
will not get bored.
Loisaba Ranch is a 61,000 acre, privately owned ranch in the Laikipia region
of Northern Kenya. The bulk of the land is untamed African bush with a fantastic
variety of game. Loisaba is also a working cattle ranch and a fine example
of sustainable land use.Crucially, because the land is privately owned, there
are no game park rules and this gives Loisaba’s visitors an extremely rare
opportunity to discover this magnificent area free from the restrictions
that are imposed in many other game-viewing regions.
Why?
- Wonderful luxurious private house with every modern convenience
Why Not?
