Further Information

This wonderful lodge lies on the edge of the Great Rift Valley with sensational views across verdant wetlands, riverine forest and sun-baked plains - and huge volcanic mountains provide a dramatic backdrop.

It is a special project that runs as a partnership with the local Maasai community. Built from natural materials – beautiful white quartz and pale thatch - it has just six rooms. Guests stay in specially designed tent bedrooms each of which has its own plunge pool, informal sitting area and fabulous bathroom. Activities include early morning and evening walks, river trips, picnics, sundowner visits to Lake Natron to see the flamingos and game drives with skilled Maasai guides and trackers.

Why?

  • Beautifully run, very stylist lodge in a stunning and remote area
Why Not?
  • Game can be sparse
