Further Information
Tortilis Camp is located on the edge of Amboseli National Park, the home of some of Africa's largest elephant as well as a huge variety of plains game and plenty of lion and cheetah. Wild dogs and leopards are harder to find.

The camp has seventeen large, airy, comfortable, ensuite tents built on raised platforms under a thatched roof. The tents have every comfort including steaming hot showers and flush loos. During the day guests can take game drives with a guide in an open 4X4 vehicle or go for a guided walk, have bush breakfasts and hill top sundowners or simply relax by the pool. This is a super lodge offering great service.

Why?

  • Very good game
  • Set in pretty grounds
  • Elephants & Kilimanjaro photographs
  • The best lodge in Amboseli
Why Not?
  • Amboseli can get very busy
  • The lodge is more like a small hotel
  • Could be too big for some people
