Further Information

Mumbo Island is situated on a beautiful tropical island within an exclusive concession area that makes up part of Lake Malawi National Park. Its location is absolutely superb and its surrounding crystal clear waters are the perfect place for some excellent snorkelling and diving.

There are just five rooms here ensuring an exceptional degree of peace and privacy. Guests are accommodated in large, well-furnished safari tents each with shaded viewing deck and hammock. The thatch and canvas central area comprises a dining area, bar and water sports gazebo.

There are many super water-based activities on offer here - and something to match most energy levels such as sea kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving and swimming. For the less energetic, it is a blissful environment in which to relax in a hammock or to just lie back in the gorgeous, warm, fresh water of the lake.
