Further Information

Etendeka Mountain Camp is situated in the north of Damaraland and is a fantastic, owner-run camp. Dennis and Claire Leibenberg look after their guests to a very high standard - they are wonderfully friendly hosts and also very knowledgeable about area and its game. Although it is a remote bush camp, rare sightings of giraffe, Hartmann's mountain zebra, oryx, springbok and even desert elephant and black rhino can be an exciting bonus to any stay.

Guests are accommodated in comfortable, walk-in tents with ensuite bathrooms in an adjoining tent comprising flush loos and bucket showers. The camp is comfortable but with no frills and the food is simple but good. Scenic drives and walks in the mountains are the order of the day here and Etendeka is the epitome of a true African bush experience.
