Further Information

Huab Lodge is a family run lodge on the Huab River in Damaraland, owned and managed by friendly hosts, Jan and Suzi van de Reep. The lodge has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and the standard of service here is very high. Guests are accommodated in comfortable, thatched bungalows each with ensuite facilities and large, private verandas. The lodge also has a swimming pool.

Huab Lodge is a great base from which to head off into the area in search of the amazing desert elephant, which has adapted to survive the harsh conditions of this magnificent region. There are some natural hot springs close to Huab Lodge and it is a very pleasant experience to take some time out to go and relax in the warm waters. For the ultimate, relaxing treat, the lodge also has an aromatherapist offering reflexology and aromatherapy massages in the privacy of the bungalow or at the thermal spring.
