The historic Vineyard Hotel, originally built as a country residence for Lady Anne Barnard in 1799, is set in rolling parkland alongside the Liesbeek River in the suburb of Newlands. The decor is traditional Cape Country antique, highlighted with South African art and tapestries by the owner’s family. The hotel offers 160 tastefully decorated rooms and suites with mountain or courtyard views, an award winning French restaurant, a glass roofed courtyard restaurant, a heated pool and a fully equipped fitness centre.
