Further Information

Chada Katavi is a super tented camp situated in the beautiful Katavi National Park in western Tanzania and is one of the wildest places in Africa. The camp is fantastically well positioned to take advantage of spectacular views over the Chada Plain, panoramic scenery teeming with plains game and the last great herds of buffalo in Eastern Africa.

There are six large, airy guest tents scattered amongst the trees each with fine wooden furniture, large comfortable beds and thick rugs on the floor. Set just behind each of the bedroom tents are deluxe bush ensuite bathrooms.

The camp has a minimum of impact on the environment and gives guests an amazing opportunity to get well off the beaten track. This is Africa for true Africa lovers and for those that crave the tranquillity and solitude of the bush. Game viewing activities here are excellent; game drives in 4 wheel drive vehicles with highly experienced guides, guided bush walks and the option to go fly camping out into the bush for a night under the stars.
