Further Information
Oliver's Camp is situated outside the Tarangire National Park but not far from
the eastern gate. This small camp has five well furnished guest tents each
with simple, private bathroom facilities including private
bucket shower and loo. There is a drinks area and a library tent with plenty
of books on birds and wildlife. The
dining tent has one big table so guests can share their days experiences with
each other. The camp has a super, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Oliver's Camp has highly trained and informative guides providing educational
game-viewing and amusing and knowledgeable company. Guests are sure to see
lots of game without even leaving the camp as elephants come wandering down
the river, which divides the camp. In fact, the elephants will often come into
camp to graze amongst the tents and many other sorts of game are also regular
visitors.
