Pole Pole is located on the beautiful Mafia Island just of the coast of Tanzania. Guests are accommodated in gorgeous, spacious bungalows set amongst the coconut trees overlooking the bay. Each room is furnished with local wooden furniture and has a veranda overlooking the sea. Siimple bathrooms facilities, including loos and showers, are set outside.

The main buildings are wonderful, open structures with sensational views. The surrounding sea is a marine park so the snorkelling and diving here are both excellant. The lodge has its own diving school.
