Further Information

Situated in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park this was the first camp to be established in the Lower Zambezi area in 1989. Owned and run by the Cumings family who are passionate about making sure you enjoy your stay.

Chiawa consists of 8 luxury well-ventilated safari tents each set on its own elevated wooden platform overlooking the vast Zambezi River. The newly suite honeymoon suite is set away from the main camp and has a magnificent bathroom with a shower for two built into a tree.

There is a plunge pool in the hotter months which converts into a fireplace/boma area during the winter and there is also a thatched lounge with upstairs observation area, and dining area both overlooking the river.
