Further Information

Old Mondoro is far into the Lower Zambezi National Park and offers a very unique "back to the bush" experience. It is a joint venture between Sausage Tree Camp and Chiawa Camp and was opened in 2002. Each chalet is perched on the edge of the river and although simple, they are very comfortable with high quality soft furnishings. The ensuite bathrooms are basic with flush loo's and bush showers.

The emphasis at Old Mondoro is on walking in the national park where you will be escorted by a proffessional guide and armed scout.

As with Sausage Tree Camp and Chiawa camp, the food and service is of a high standard and its recommended that you spend at least two nights here to get the most out of your stay.
